Barcelona troll Juventus, post freekick stats with Messi netting 33 in Europe's top 5 Leagues

Barcelona who are Spanish giants have continued their social media feud with reigning Italian champions Juventus as they posted another stunning stats about Lionel Messi. Recently, Juventus hosted Barcelona in the Champions League game in which the expectations of many fans was to see Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the encounter.

But Cristiano Ronaldo was unable to face his long term rival Lionel Messi because he was on isolation after being tested positive for COVID-19 before he later recovered. Juventus went on to lose the match 2-0 against Barcelona without Cristiano Ronaldo with Ousmane Dembele and Lionel Messi scoring the two goals.

Barcelona took to their Twitter page after the encounter which they won claiming that it must have been nice for Juventus seeing the GOAT on their pitch. The Catalans are at it again by using Messi's recent free-kick scoring stats to show how much better the Argentine is at set pieces than anyone else on the planet, and dragging Juventus and Real Madrid. On the stats which Barcelona claimed as the most free-kick goals in the last 10 seasons in Europe's top five Leagues, Lionel Messi is topping.

However, Cristiano Ronaldo is still ahead of Lionel Messi when it comes to free-kicks scored during their careers so far as the Portuguese currently has 56 while the Argentine has 53.
